Skuld is a project the women of WAU are very proud of, this online publication is one of a kind; it is dedicated 100% to our sisters across the globe. The purpose behind Skuld is to Honour Women Past and Present who have carved their name into our glorious and talented history books.
It is not our aim to alienate men who have made great advancements for our Folk; we just wish to focus on the female side of our Folk that is sadly to often forgotten. Through Skuld we hope to change that, we want to give our families stories to tell their children , stories of Brave and Noble Women who went against all odds to attain their goals and maintain their ideals.
We all know that being a woman is a more often than not harsh and we face many obstacles on a daily basis. We are usually forced to mesh both warrior and mother into one. Many types of women past and present have made our roles in todays society unique. We are labeled as many different things by many different kinds of men and women; one thing that cannot be denied is that we as women are both fierce and motherly all in one, most of us encompass them both very well.
Throughout history, war has been seen as a mans job; however women have always been involved in battles and sieges, not to mention duels, prizefights and so on. The most common occasion when women would take part in battles was when their home was being attacked and their family was at risk, women knew how to defend themselves, their family and their land. Proud women like Boudicca, Joan of Arc, Freydis Eriksdottir, Duchess Gaita of Lombardy, Countess Matilda Tuscany and many more have shown us how true that is.
Women have conquered the skies, art, medicine and much more. We have been forced to believe that women before us were content with being shackled to the kitchen sink, Skuld will tell you differently. Each Woman featured within the web pages of Skuld is a different type of Aryan Woman, both historical and mythological. From each of them we can learn something.
Hail the Spirit of the Strong Aryan Woman
Women for Aryan Unity
